Hi, I'm Asa!

I am an artist located in Arizona and I'm 23. I grew up in a tiny rural town on the east coast. I had never seen the desert until I went to visit potential colleges, and it was love at first sight. I knew I wanted to move to Arizona to pursue art. I received my BFA in Photography from Arizona State in 2022, and have been pursuing my artistic practice since. 

Primarily, I make solar prints and take infrared photographs. Neither are possible without intense sunlight, which is no problem with 300+ sunny days a year in AZ. Through my work I explore relationships between the environment and ourselves, and how it molds human experience.
